Di bawah ni aku kongsikan itinerary dengan rough budget aku untuk trip ke Japan ni selama 8 hari 7 malam di tiga lokasi iaitu Tokyo, Yamagata, Kyoto dan Odawara.

• Harajuku : Takeshita Street, shopping, crepe stall, Cosplayers on Sunday, lunch
• Meiji Shrine : Shinto Shrine, Yoyogi Park

• Shinjuku : Shinjuku Gyeon (Park), Shopping, coffee shop
• Roppongi: Tokyo Tower, Hard Rock Café, Tokyo Metropolitan Government building, dinner

Day 3 (Monday) : Tokyo – Yamagata

Day 4 (Tuesday) : Yamagata

Day 6 (Thursday) : Kyoto

     • Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
     • Nijo Castle
Entrance fee: ¥600 (RM 22.50)
     • Gion district: Geisha, Shirakawa Minami Dori
 
8.30 pm – 10.00 pm
     • Dinner, shopping
     • Back to hotel & rest
 
Other places of intererest:
     • Tenryu-ji : Temple of the Sky Dragon, Unesco World Heritage Site
     • Adashino Nenbustu-ji: 8000 Buddha statue with different faces
     • Fushimi-inari Shrine: Thousand gates shrine
     • Kiyomizu-dera : 8th Century Temple
 
If you have more time you could add Ginkaku-ji (Silver Pavillion + Garden) and Kinkakuji (Golden Pavillion) on your itinerary. In Kyoto, it is more convenient to travel via bus rather than train because. Even though it took longer travel time but they have bus stop in every corner of the city (most of them very near with the tourism spots) and you can hop on to the bus unlimited time with the daily pass that cost only 500 yen.

Day 7 (Friday) : Kyoto – Odawara – Tokyo

You need at least one or two days to explore Hakone. If you have limited time, just purchase limited pass only. No need purchase 2-days or 3-days pass.

     • Pick-up luggage at hotel

     • Haneda Airport, check-in & dinner

11.30 pm – 6.30 pm

     • Ueno Park : One of the largest park in Tokyo, beautiful lake, baseball field
     • Tokyo Imperial Palace: Park, Palace
     • Odaiba : Real Size Gundam, Shopping Mall
